Celltrion said Thursday it will present clinical data on its autoimmune disease treatment Remsima SC and promote its broader inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) drug portfolio at UEG Week 2026 in Barcelona, Spain, from Saturday to Tuesday.
The annual United European Gastroenterology Week is a major international conference for digestive disease specialists, drawing more than 12,100 participants from 115 countries last year.
The Korean biopharmaceutical company will showcase its Remsima intravenous and subcutaneous formulations, including a liquid IV version launched in Europe earlier this year, alongside two other IBD treatments, Steqeyma (ustekinumab) and Yuflyma (adalimumab).
On Sunday, Celltrion will host a symposium on the clinical use of subcutaneous infliximab, chaired by Peter M. Irving, a professor at King's College London.
Specialists will discuss clinical findings and treatment experiences involving patients with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, including the use of Remsima SC from early treatment through long-term disease management.
Two additional expert sessions will examine real-world evidence supporting Remsima SC monotherapy and clinical considerations when switching Crohn's disease patients to the subcutaneous formulation.
The presentations will be led by Irina Blumenstein of University Hospital Frankfurt and Gionata Fiorino of San Camillo-Forlanini Hospital in Rome, respectively.
Celltrion is seeking to build on its position in Europe's IBD treatment market. According to first-quarter IQVIA data cited by the company, Remsima IV and SC held a combined 71 percent market share in Europe, while Yuflyma accounted for 24 percent.
The company plans to use its established European direct-sales network to expand sales across its IBD portfolio.
"We plan to present a broad range of clinical data and real-world prescribing experience to healthcare professionals worldwide to highlight the value of Celltrion's IBD treatments, including Remsima SC," said Ha Tae-hun, senior vice president and head of Europe at Celltrion.
