Wendy of Red Velvet will return as a solo singer in November, her agency Ascend said Wednesday.
Her last solo effort was her third EP, “Cerulean Verge,” released in September 2025. Following the mini album, she launched her first solo tour, “W:ealive.” She kicked it off with a two-date show in Seoul, then visited six cities in Asia and six in the US before wrapping up the tour in Seoul in March.
Between the two sets, she participated in a string of soundtracks, including for the Netflix dramas “Recharge Me” and “Can This Love Be Translated?”
In August, Red Velvet dropped a seasonal EP “Velvet Summer,” which also marked the group's 12th debut anniversary. The surf-themed endeavor was Red Velvet's first group release in two years.
