RM of BTS has urged fans to stop gathering outside the boy group's hotels during its ongoing world tour, saying the crowds are disrupting members' sleep, making life difficult for staff and disturbing other guests.

The rapper made the appeal Thursday on fan community platform Weverse while the group was staying in Lima, Peru.

"Members and staff are having a really hard time because of people staying outside our hotel all day," RM wrote. "It's so noisy that we can hear it inside our rooms, and everyone is having trouble sleeping."

He also expressed concern about the inconvenience to other hotel guests.

RM urged fans not to wait outside the group's accommodations at upcoming tour stops in Chile, Brazil and Argentina, as well as during its later Asian leg.

"We appreciate the warm welcome and enthusiasm, but if we can't get enough rest and sleep, it will affect the performances we share with you," he said.

His appeal follows similar requests from fellow BTS members over repeated intrusions into their privacy during the tour.

In July, V asked fans on Weverse to refrain from visiting the group's hotels, thanking them for their enthusiasm while stressing the need to keep the members' accommodations private.

"There are things we don't want to share, including where we're staying, and it also affects our condition for performances," V wrote at the time.

In August, V and Jungkook also expressed discomfort after about 20 fans reportedly approached them at a hotel gym early one morning.
